Pi Lambda Chi Latina Sorority Incorporated

Pi Lambda Chi Latina Sorority Incorporated was founded as the Iota Associate Chapter on July 29, 2018 at Eastern Kentucky University’s campus. Their mission includes preserving “Latino/a culture and history” by creating “a strong sisterhood and an educational support network for women on college campuses.” The sorority had ten founding members and marked the establishment of the first Latina-based sorority on EKU’s campus.

The sorority is open to all students regardless of their racial or ethnic background. Students interested in joining the sorority can visit their Instagram @pilambdachi_eku or Engage page. Students are also encouraged to visit the PLC office in room 224 of McCreary Hall.
